Future Asia invites university students across Pakistan to submit original, well-researched work on critical regional issues including trade, connectivity, geopolitics, and security. The initiative aims to amplify credible student voices, encourage critical thinking, and promote youth perspectives through publication and short films.
Target Participants
- Undergraduate and postgraduate students, currently enrolled in any Pakistani college or university
- Fields: International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, Law, Development Studies, Public Policy, Economics
Format: Written Article and Short Film
1. Written Article
- Word count: 800–1,200 words
- Format: Word or PDF
- Language: English and Urdu
- Must be original, unpublished, and 100% human-written
- Use credible sources and structured analysis
- Proper referencing required
2. Short Film / Video Essay
- Duration: 4 to 5 minutes
- Format: MP4 (horizontal, 720p > ) shot from handycam/DSLR/ Mobile
Phone
- Language: Urdu or English (subtitles if needed)

- Interview-based
- Narrated slideshow
- Explainer video
Original visuals are encouraged, however, use of royalty-free visuals, footage, or music is allowed.
Recognition & Rewards
- 1st Prize: Rs. 50,000
- 2nd & 3rd Prizes: Rs. 10,000 each
- Top 10 entries to be published and awarded certificates
Winning submissions will be:
- Published on Future Asia’s platforms
- Credited with the student’s name, university, and photo
- Promoted via Future Asia’s social media
- Eligible for internships based on merit
